The Namhansan-seong Fortress (South Gate), Korea

The Fortress was erected in Gwangju in 1626 on the site of an ancient Silla fortress (672 AD). When the Manchus invaded Korea, King Injo was besieged here. The scenic beauty lasts all the year round. From the time of Joseon Dynasty (1392 - 1910)
