In December, after the Xi'an Incident, Ren Bishi travelled from Baoan Yangquan Mountain in northern Shaanxi to Yunyang Town in the north of Xi'an, and participated in commanding the Red Army to actively cooperate with Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng's troops, and prepare to attack the pro-Japanese attack in Nanjing.
