Sisygambus, mother of Darius III, mistakes Hephistion (Hephaestion) for Alexander the Great'. After Alexander's defeat of the Persians at Issus, 333 BC, Darius's womenfolk were taken to Alexander's tent. Sisygambus speaks to Hephistion as the most imposing figure in the group.
