Unpainted Small Jar
Han Dynasty jar covered with lattice pattern and cloud patterns at the flat surface around the mouth's rim. There are two knobs shaped as animals that sit on the shoulders, a similar-shaped knob planted on the cover. On one side of the small pot sits Buddha and a dragon. The opposite side is inscribed with Made in the third year of Chien Chao (36 BCE) in seal script style. The jar exemplifies the Han advocacy for simplicity of funerals
