Workers Start Political Strikes in Shanghai, All

On June 10th, workers from all over the city started political strikes and took the streets for demonstrations and protests. Shanghai transportation (air and land) was all suspended. This is a part of the continuation of the May Fourth Movement. The May Fourth Movement was a Chinese anti-imperialist, cultural, and political movement that grew out of student protests in Beijing on May 4, 1919
