Yun Daiying Leads Anti-Imperialist Demonstration

Yun Daiying, the Publicity Department Director of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, led the Central Committee of the Delegation to mobilize and organize the masses and student unions to participate in the struggle, he served as the commander-in-chief of the anti-imperialist demonstration on May 30th. On May 30th, more than 2, 000 Shanghai students gave anti-imperialist speeches and distributed leaflets along Nanjing Road in the public concession. The May Thirtieth Movement was a major labour and patriotic movement against imperialist powers led by the Chinese Communist Party. It began when the Shanghai Municipal Police opened fire on Chinese protesters in Shanghai on May 30th, 1925, otherwise known as the Shanghai Massacre of 1925
