13th century French knights in chain-mail armour
Philip Hurepel or Philip I of Boulogne (1200-1234), in helm and chain-mail hauberk with shield bearing his coat of arms, Theobald VI, Count of Blois, fought the Moors in Castille (died of leprosy 1218) and Raoul de Beaumont (1200-1218), founder ot the Abbey of Estival in 1210 (from a relief on his tomb in the abbey).
