Russian Ambassador Nikolay Rezanov brought ashore to Nagasaki, Japan, from Captain Adam Johann von Krusenstern's ship Nadezhda, 1804. Daimyo Nabeshima of Hizen Province, supplied a luxury gozabune decorated with curtains, his own ensign and the Russian Imperial eagle standard.
