The Aldobrandini Wedding fresco. The wedding of Peleus and Thetis, parents of Achilles. Other guests include Roman matron in veil, Charis or Peitho with alabastron, Venus, Hymen seated on the floor, the Muses: Mneme holding a patera, Aoede playing the lyre and Melete meditating.
