The carved wooden altar of St. Mary Aldermanbury, with painting of the Last Supper by Old Franks and the Ten Commandments from the Book of Exodus. Rebuilt by Christopher Wren in the 17th century, demolished in the Blitz. Copperplate drawn and engraved by James Peller Malcolm from his Anecdotes of the Manners and Customs of London during the 18th Century, Longman, Hurst, London, 1808. Malcolm (1767-1815) was an American-English topographer and engraver, Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries
