Chaises longues, Regency style. Reclining sofa in carved wood decorated with gilt, upholstered in velvet with matching cushion and bolster with tassels. Handcoloured copperplate engraving from George Smith's The Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Guide, Jones and Co. London, 1828. George Smith was upholsterer and furniture draughtsman to his Majesty (the Prince of Wales, later King George IV), circa 1786-1826
