Bicorn with cockade, redingote (frock coat) with wide lapels, short gilet (waistcoat), cravat covering the face to the nose, high breeches. Handcolored etching by Auguste Etienne Guillaumot Jr. from Costumes of the Directory, Rouquette, Paris, 1875. The etchings were made from designs by Eugene Lacoste and Draner after prints of the era 1795-99
