A young man lies on a bed drinking wine from a horn or Rhyton, a woman wears a fine peplos dress, while a slave enters with a box of perfume. On the table are vases of offerings to the gods Jupiter, Mercury and the Graces, and a pierced vessel to hold snow to chill wine.
