Francis Trovillou, the Horned Man, 16th century
Francis Trovillou, the Horned Man. Born in Mezieres in the mid 16th century, he grew a horn on his forehead from age 7. Exhibited in Paris in 1598, examined by the surgeon Fabritius in his Chirurgical Observations, and died soon after.
