Gormo the Old, King of Denmark and a Danish youth
Gurm Gamle, or Gormo the Old, King of Denmark and a Danish youth. The king wears a leather corslet, tunic and crown, and holds a sceptre or hammer. The youth holds a bipennis (two-headed axe), wears an embroidered tunic and greaves on his shins. Handcoloured aquatint by R.
