John Hewson, Colonel in the New Model Army, died 1662
John Hewson, one-eyed Colonel for the Parliament, regicide, died 1662. Fought in the English Civil War, led a New Model Army regiment in Oliver Cromwell's invasion of Ireland. In hat, plain collar, tunic, breeches, buckle shoes, with sword, sash and powder horn.
