Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk, 1484-1546, and Mary Tudor, Queen of France, 1496-1533. He in hat, furred mantle, collar of the Garter, she in hood, bejeweled gown, holding an emblem. Coats of arms beneath. Copy of wedding portrait from 1515 with additional figure whispering in Brandon's ear, Cloth of Gold do not thy dispys, Though thou be mached withb Cloth of fries, Cloth of friez be not thou to bould, Though thou be mached with Cloth of Gold.
