Two mounted knights in jousting armor for two different types of course: with target shield (targe) 220 and with great helm (heaume) 221. Knight in jousting armor on blue striped caparisoned horse with a blazon of a small boy on top of a cloud holding a lance 221. Knight on a pink caparisoned horse with heraldic decorations of the letter D, birds and a golden birdcage 220. In the course, the knight aimed his lance at a particular spot on the opponent's breastplate: when this button was hit, a metal plate was shot into the air (shown in the plate as golden fragments above the knights).
