Munro's globemallow or desert-mallow, Sphaeralcea munroana. Found by Scottish botanist David Douglas in Columbia, North America, in 1836. Named for David Munro, gardener at the Horticultural Society from 1825-55. Mr. Munro's mallow, Malva munroana.
