Officer and soldiers of Guy I, Count of Ponthieu
Officer and soldiers of Guy I, Count of Ponthieu, 11th century. Officer 90 and cavalry 91-94. Common soldiers were dressed in shirt, short pants (culottes) and shoes. They had a sword hanging from the belt, and wore hats 91, 92, 93, 94. The shields were painted with various heraldic figures.
