The English Royal Navy captures a Spanish fortress by stealth in the Peninsula War. Captain Bowsprit of HMS Ajax accepts the sword of the fort's commandant in surrender. Sailors plant the English Union Jack flag while prisoners are led away and dead bodies litter the ground.
