Siberian lily or lavender mountain lily, Ixiolirion tataricum. Native to central to southwest Asia. Found in the hills near Tehran, Iran, sent by J. Cartwright to Spofforth, the garden of botanist William Herbert, Dean of Manchester. Mountain ixia-lily, Ixiolirion montanum.
