West Portal to Islington Tunnel, with a horse

West Portal to Islington Tunnel, with a horse towing a barge along Regent's Canal. The tunnel was built by the engineer James Morgan for architect John Nash in 1818 and links the canal from the Paddington Basin to the Limehouse Basin and the River Thames.
