Woman in front of the Chinese Baths on the Boulevard des Capucines, 1849. Woman in full crinoline, shawl and bonnet. Les bains chinois were built in 1787 by Samson-Nicolas Lenoir and comprised 60 luxury bath cabins, a restaurant, cafe and boutiques.
