Queen Elizabeth II on her tour of inspection during the RAF Coronation Review at Odiham, Hampshire in July 1953. She is pictured talking to Observer Commander, E. J. B. Irving of the Royal Observer Corps, and behind her is Air/Cdre.G. D. Stephenson, the Static Parade Commander. On the right is the Air Chief Marshal Sir William Dickson, Chief of Air Staff, and in the background, Wing Commander D. I. Benham, Static Parade Adjutant. In the picture can be seen a Land Rover of a type often used by the Queen and other members of the Royal family for parades of this nature
