Beachy Head view down the cliffs to the sea and lighthouse
The picture looks down from the top of the cliffs over a beach to a lighthouse in the sea and beyond to a small steamer. Lloyds once had a signalling station at the Watch Tower on the cliff. After that, around 1904, it became a kiosk selling postcards etc but that closed in 1939. Now it is a memorial. This postcard is stamped as having been bought in the kiosk
