Aug. 08, 1959 - Pet Dog pushes boy to his death: Four-year old Philip Murray, was yesterday pushed to his death under the wheels of a 14-ton lorry, by Dusky, the dog that he loved. Philip died in the street at Salford, Lancashire, because Dusky, a friendly black retriever got caught in a fight on the pavement with another dog. They fell against Peter and he was knocked into the road as his mother screamed to the lorry driver to stop. The boy was killed instantly.
