Jan. 01, 1967 - Sybil Thorndike In new Park: Sybil Thorndike, now in her 85th year and Max Adrian, today started rehearsals at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guilldford, for The Viaduct. Written by the French dramatist Marguerite Duras, the play, which is to have its English Premiere at Guildford on Tuesday. January 24th, will be directed by Laurier Lister, Director and Administrator of The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Sybil Thorndike is very excited about this play and has said for her part in it: I don't care if I never do anything else after this'. Max Adrian has interrupted the tour of his successful entertainment GBS. to play her husband.
