Jessica Mitford (Jessica Lucy Freeman-Mitford, 1917-1996), nicknamed Decca, English author, journalist, communist and political campaigner, one of the Mitford sisters. She became an American citizen in later life, and was involved in a number of civil rights campaigns and in investigative journalism.
