Newlyweds Esmond Romilly and the former Jessica Mitford pictured on honeymoon in Ascain in the Pyrenees. The couple had sensationally absconded as teenagers to the Spanish Civil War and later married. Esmond was killed in November 1941 when he plane failed to return from a bombing raid
