Battlefield at Beaumont Hamel and Scots memorial
The battlefield at Beaumont Hamel, otherwise known as the Newfoundland Memorial Park. The large white memorial in the foreground is the 51st Highland Division Memorial and the circular feature to its right is Hunter's CWGC Cemetery probably named after the Rev Hunter, a chaplain attached to the Black Watch who helped bury 41 men, mainly from the Black Watch, in November 1916 in what was effectively a giant shell-hole
