The Buanfe River at Charpentry
On Sept 27 1918 the 35/Div attacked across this stream towards the hedge which marks the line of a Roman Road. 139/Reg and 140/Reg had to wade through the stream which was chest deep. Capt Harrys Truman was near here acting as a forward observer for his battery which was in Cheppy
