Cannon at Fort Liouville, Meuse, France
Fort Liouville is part of a system of fortifications called A Sere de Rivieres. The fortifications were built in 1880 but artillery was not added to the Liouville until the start of the War in 1914. Sere de Rivieres fortifications are located on strategic points along the French boarders
