Fields of Battle - Amiens
These fields were the landscape where the frst tank versus tank battle took place on 24th April 1918 when a group of Mark IV heavy tanks with some light Whippet tanks met a force of German tanks and forced them to retreat and then attacked the attacking German infantry and halted their attack which was threatening Amiens
