Fields of Battle - Cambrai
Tank D.51 - Deborah 20th Nov 1917 - Battle of Cambrai. Tank D.51 commanded by Lt F G Heap was hit by gun-fire which killed four of the crew. It was discovered in 1998 by Phillipe Gorczynski, who devoted 10 years to finding the tank, which had been buried in a crater in Flesquieres and it was recovered with the help of the Royal Tank Regiment
