Spanbroekmolen British Cemetery, Wijtschate The trees on the horizon mark the Spanbroekmolen crater created by one of the 19 mines blown by the British on 7 June 1917 at the start of the battle of Messines Ridge. The cemetery contains 52 graves, mostly men of the Royal Irish Rifles
