Fields of Battle - Yser
Dodengang - the Trenches of Death, Dixemude This was a Belgian trench complex on the west bank of the Yser, just north of Dixemude which was held through-out the war by the Belgian army with the Germans just 40 ms away on the other bank of the Yser. The reconstructed trenches are made with concreted sandbags
