German Bunker and Kandler Quelle, Vilcey Sur Trey, France
Kandler Quelle translates as Kandler's Source was German dressing station next to a bunker near Tilcy sur Trey in woods to north of Bois le Pretre which literally translates as Priest's Wood'. The woodland in France saw heavy fighting between French Infantry Division (known as the Wolves of Boise le Pretre) and German Infantry during WW1. The American forces were also involved in Bois le Pretre battles
