The Loos football on the grave of Captin Guy Willock
This is the football wich the London Irish Rifles kicked across No Mans Land on Sept 25th 1915 as they attacked the German positions in the town of Loos.
Patrick Macgill described this event in one of his poems. Here is it seen on the grave of Captin Guy Charles Boileau Willock aged 23 killed on Sept 25th "shot whilst leading his men" situated in Dud Corner Cemetery
