Lady Mary Theresa Montagu Douglas Scott (1904 - 1984), by Madame Yevonde. She was the fourth daughter of the 7th Duke of Buccleugh and 9th Duke of Queensberry. She had just become engaged to Lord Burghley (later the 6th Marquess of Exeter), athlete and hurdler. They married in 1929
