An ambulance donated by the people of the Lower East Side in appreciation of the anti-fascist struggles of the people of Spain. Part of the Lower East Side Committee Medical Bureau and North American Committee to aid Spanish democracy. The Spanish Civil War was fought from 17 July 1936 to 1 April 1939
