Anethum Graveolens, Dill
An Old-World perennial or biennial herb (Anethum graveolens) of the Parsley Family, grown for it's leaves bitter seeds which are used for flavoring the popular dill (cucumber) pickles. It is the sole species of the genus Anethum, though classified by some botanists in a related genus as Peucedanum graveolens
