Babylonian Boundary Stone

Babylonian boundary stone, or kudurru, depicting symbols of the gods and goddesses as witnesses to a legal agreement. The original of a kudurru would be kept in a temple, and a clay copy of the contract would be given to a landholder to use as a boundary stone to confirm his ownership of the property
