Tennis players Billie Jean King (born November 22, 1943) and Bobby Riggs (February 25, 1918 aEUR October 25, 1995) at a press conference. Riggs had challenged King to beat him at tennis, claiming that the female game was inferior. She won the nationally televised match, held on September 20, 1973
