Bust of the Incomplete Statue of Liberty
The incompleted bust of the Statue of Liberty on display in the garden of the Trocadero palace as part of the 1878 Paris Exposition. The statue, designed by sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi and engineered by Gustave Eiffel, was not fully completed and in place on the pedestal until 1886.
