Covered Wagons
A covered wagon of the type used between the years 1824 to 1848 on the Sante Fe Trail. Teams of two, four or six oxen were used in many covered wagons on the Sante Fe Trail, a dirt highway that connected Missouri and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and was used by commercial traders, emigrants, gold seekers, fur traders, stagecoaches and adventurers
