Cromlech, Megalithic Altar-Tomb
A cromlech, cromleh or cromleh is a megalithic altar-tomb, made of rough stone. A megalith is a large stone that has been used to construct a structure or monument, either alone or together with other stones. An altar-tomb is a tomb, or monument, over a grave, oblong in form, which is covered with a slab or table, having the appearance of an altar.
