A. J. Wilson's Experiemental Tandem, 1885. The riders are A. J. Wilson (rear) and Dan Albone (front). Daniel Albone (1860-1906) was an English inventor, manufacturer and cyclist. He invented the first successful light farm tractor, and the Ivel Safety bicycle. With cyclist Arthur James Wilson (1858-1945), he designed a tandem safety bicycle in 1886
