Lava cascading from east pit to west pit, Pauahi Crater, November 11, 1973. Second of two short-lived eruptions that took place in and near Pauahi Crater, between Mauna Ulu and HiE??iaka Crater in 1973. Note the two smaller vents on the west (left) side of the crater above the lake, which is about 150m (500ft) across. The lava in the lake has a clockwise rotation
