Dome fountain from the Mauna Ulu eruption of Kilauea, on October 11, 1969. This dome fountain is about 20m (65ft) high. Symmetrical dome fountains are rare. Mauna Ulu, on the eastern flank of Kilauea, erupted in phases from 1969 until 1974
